As a part of the California Advancing and Innovating Medi-Cal (CalAIM) initiative, starting in 2024, a managed care plan coordinating Medicare and Medi-Cal benefits has been expanded to members who are eligible for both programs. These members are Dual Special Needs Plan (D-SNP) members.
